Master’s Student – Entomology

Dr. Jeffery Tomberlin Lab

Jennie is a master’s student in the FLIES Facility working under Dr. Jeff Tomberlin. She received her B.S. in Entomology and her B.A. in English from Texas A&M University in 2013 and works full-time as an academic advisor and program coordinator for the TAMU Department of Animal Science. Her research explores the physiological behaviors of the blow fly Lucilia sericata (Diptera: Calliphoridae) in response to the intercellular signaling molecule indole and their ecological and forensic implications.
