Requirements for eligibility for this program are:
A demonstrated interest in science, (indicated in ways such as a major in the biological, life, agricultural, although other majors will be considered),- Must be a continuing undergraduate student in good standing at home institution
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale),
- Current TAMU – College Station students are not eligible for participation

Introductory biology,- introductory chemistry,
- calculus-based mathematics

A committee of the faculty mentors and program coordinator will review all applications. Selection will be based on the following: the student essay; coursework and grades; letters of recommendation; contribution to diversity; relevant activities; and leadership and citizenship experience.
