Guidelines for Change of Majors/Transfers into the Forensic and Investigative Sciences Program
- Students interested in transferring into FIVS program should contact the Advising Office to discuss options.
- Grade Point Averages of students transferring into FIVS program should be at minimum 3.0/4.0.
Change of Major Requirements:
1. 0-45 hours, Students must have completed:
• CHEM 101/111 and 102/112
• Min. 2 other science courses from the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) list
• Min. 2 other CBK courses
• 3.0 on CBKs*
2. 45-65 hours:
• ALL CBKs completed
• 3.0 on CBKs*
3. No transfers will be accepted above 65 hours
* 3.0 on ALL coursework with no grade of” D”, “F”, or “U”
