Freder has worked for HomeTeam Pest Defense (Rollins Inc.) as their West Regional Technical Director covering the states of CA, NV, AZ and NM. Now with BASF as Market Development Specialist under the BASF Professional Development Program. He is now working with University Researchers on the development of new pest control solutions and providing training and support to Pest Management Professionals in the USA and the Caribbean. The company is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Stephen Bahr II

Stephen works as an Agricultural Specialist with U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Luis Espino
Ph.D. Entomology, 2007

Luis is Rice Farm Advisor for the University of California Cooperative Extension in Colusa, Glenn and Yolo counties in Northern California. Luis conducts extension education and applied research to aid rice growers implement IPM programs and improve productivity.

Sarah Sleeba
M.S. Entomology 2005

Sarah received her master’s in May 2005 and graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London. She is working in a small animal veterinary practice in McAllen, Texas.

James Butler
Major: Entomology

James is a medical entomologist for the U.S. Army Public Health Command. He is also actively involved with the Armed Forces Pest Management Board. James’ work primarily involves regulatory reviews and integrated pest management plans, tick and mosquito surveillance, pathogen testing, as well as various other projects related to the health of the military.

Lizette (Peters) Dahlgren

Lizette recently was accepted this semester into the Ph.D. program in the entomology department at the University of Nebraska and will be researching toxicology of honey bees under the advisement of Dr. Blair Siegfried and Dr. Marion Ellis.

As of July 2009, Robert has been working as a research assistant for the Urban and Structural Entomology Center in College Station, Texas.

Kristie Reddick

As of July 2009, Kristie has been working with Solpugid Productions, a video production company in College Station. Her research science background is focused on non-insect arthropod taxonomy and morphology, and African solifuges.
