Professional Summary

Sarah Mays Maestas, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher in the Texas A&M University Department of Entomology Kaufman Laboratory. Her research interests lie in vector-borne disease ecology, and vectors and pathogens affecting human, livestock, companion animal, and wildlife hosts. Dr. Mays Maestas’ work focuses on host and vector interactions. Her primary interest is in ticks and other ectoparasites responsible for zoonotic pathogen transmission.
