Reem Alqaluoby is a highly motivated researcher with a distinguished career encompassing both research and student development. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM equivalent) and a Master of Science in Veterinary Medical Sciences from Cairo University, Egypt. Following her veterinary training, she pursued advanced studies at Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. Throughout her career, Reem has demonstrated a strong commitment to mentoring and training students, a passion likely fueled by her own experience as a proud Aggie mom. Her two children, Mohannad Khattab (BS Industrial Systems Engineering) and Menna Khattab (BS Political Science), are both graduates of Texas A&M University. At Texas A&M, she served as a research associate and research assistant, guiding students through various research programs and complex laboratory techniques. Her prior experience includes leadership roles in the veterinary 0eld, managing teams of entry-level veterinarians and food safety specialists in Egypt. Reem brings a wealth of experience in genetic research design and execution, genotyping and cloning, cell culture, plaque assay, laboratory procedures, and scienti0c communication.
