Lauren Beebe is a doctoral student in the Veterinary and Livestock Entomology lab at Texas A&M University. Her work focuses on the host preference and insecticide resistance of the stable fly. The goal of this research is to implement practices that help reduce numbers of this hard to control biting fly. In her Master’s, she studied the thermal biology of two forensically important blow fly species.
