Professional Summary

Kiran Gadhave, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Texas A&M University Department of Entomology. He has broad interests in entomology, plant virology, and molecular biology, with a multidisciplinary research background in insect vector biology. His current research involves studying mechanisms that drive vector-pathogen interactions using an array of omics tools. The overarching goal his program at Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Amarillo is to develop novel tools and strategies for insect pest, vector and pathogen management in crops of economic importance to the Texas High Plains.
