Samantha Hays, Ph.D., is the Laboratory Manager and an Assistant Research Scientist at the Texas A&M AgriLife Tick Research Laboratory in College Station, TX. Her research interests lie in ticks and other arthropods affecting humans, livestock, wildlife, and companion animals. A major focal point of her current research is on tick-host-landscape-climate interactions and using a holistic approach to integrated tick management. Hays also participates in teaching for educational programs for pest management of arthropods and diseases affecting livestock, wildlife, and companion animals.
