Professional Summary

Shelby Kmidowski, M.S. is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Entomology, with a focus in teaching undergraduate students in the Forensic and Investigative Sciences (FIVS) program. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with minors in Mathematics, Biology and Pre-Law certification and her graduate degree in Forensic Science and Law both from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She worked at the AgriLife agency Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL) in the Analytical Chemistry department, with the focus on toxicological and drug testing in animals. Kmidowski is originally from Buffalo, New York and came to College Station with her fiancé and their animals to plant their roots and start their respective careers.
