Professional Summary
Andie Miller is a doctoral candidate in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Interdisciplinary Program at Texas A&M University. Her research explores the cryptic speciation of fall armyworm strains by examining the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that promote strain divergence. The ultimate goal of her work is to understand the ecological implications of strain divergence in the United States. This research not only contributes to our understanding of speciation in nonmodel organisms but also informs more sustainable fall armyworm management initiatives.
