Now, fully immersed in the entomology field, Maria is eager to delve deeper into the complexities of pest management strategies, with a particular focus on rice insect pests. She is particularly interested in exploring sustainable approaches to understanding rice insect pests, aiming to develop strategies that not only comprehend crop damage but also minimize environmental impact and promote long-term agricultural sustainability. Maria’s transition from agronomy to entomology reflects her dedication to addressing complex challenges in agriculture and her commitment to making meaningful contributions to sustainable pest management practices. With an open mind and eagerness to learn, she seeks to further expand her expertise in entomology, embracing new challenges and opportunities for growth in the field.
